We are seeking a passionate Art Teacher to join our team and help students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) discover their creativity while developing skills that support independence and lifelong success.

As an Art Teacher, you will have the opportunity to:
- Design creative and engaging art experiences for students with diverse learning needs
- Help students build confidence through artistic expression
- Foster creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Lead and expand a student ceramics program
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators, therapists, and specialists

- Develop and implement engaging art curriculum for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Create individualized learning opportunities that encourage creativity and self-expression
- Manage and oversee the school's ceramics program
- Maintain a safe, organized, and inspiring art classroom environment
- Assess student progress and contribute to IEP goals, progress reports, and educational planning
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and administrators to support student success
- Coordinate student participation in community art activities and exhibitions
- Participate in school events, activities, and the broader school community
- Communicate effectively with families regarding student growth and accomplishments
- Licensed Art Teachers seeking meaningful work

Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Art Education or a related field
- Massachusetts Teaching License
- Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Experience in Special Education settings
- Ceramics experience
- Familiarity with Daily Life Therapy® (training provided)
