Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and supervision to teachers in providing explicit targeted support to all students.
Work collaboratively with the principal to supervise, support, and evaluate teachers in all aspects of job performance.
Work collaboratively with the principal to lead teams of teachers in planning and analyzing curriculum assessment and instruction.
Work collaboratively with team chairs, Principal, central offices and families to ensure that provisions for Individual Education Programs, Progress Reports, ML processes & policies and transition plans are done in a timely and effective manner that enhances student academic, personal, social and emotional success.
Enforce the implementation of a full repertoire of teaching strategies in order to meet the goals and objectives of all students' educational needs.
In collaboration with the Principal, create and oversee systems that ensure academic success for all students including successful life plans in collaboration with the building principal and other administrative personnel.
Work with teachers to create, analyze and monitor data systems and inform and adapt instruction to meet the needs of students at the building level.
Work collaboratively with the principal to lead building based multi-tiered systems of support and response to intervention for students.
Explicitly provide opportunities that impart skills and knowledge to learners that prepares them for academic, personal, social and emotional success at the school level with support from the principal and the central offices.
Work collaboratively with the building principal to ensure that all educational services and programs are provided with a high level of academic quality through student centered principles and practices.
Work collaboratively with the principal and the program directors to design and lead professional development to build and enhance educator's abilities to enhance student centered learning and services for all students.
Lead the redesign of putting forth the principles of student centered learning into all of the classrooms at the school.
Engage families and community, so they take a meaningful and active role in their student's education.
Be responsive to the needs and interests of all students while working in collaboration with the school principal to meet students where they are and to provide explicit support to ensure that students reach their full potential.
Work collaboratively with the building principal and central office staff in the hiring process for teaching and learning positions.
Strong knowledge of scheduling to meet the needs of students with disabilities including but not limited to use of Student information Systems. Technology skills required.
Strong working knowledge of the Testing Site for MCAS as it relates to accommodations for students with special needs and multilingual learners. Technology skills required.
Performs other related job duties as assigned by the Principal.

Work Year: 210 days, School Year (180) plus thirty (30) thirty days beyond
