Lead. Mentor. Inspire.Boston Higashi School is seeking an experienced and passionate Master Teacher (Level II Teacher) to provide instructional leadership within our internationally recognized special education program serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

As a Master Teacher, you will:
- Provide instructional leadership and mentorship to teachers and specialists within an assigned division
- Support the implementation of Daily Life Therapy® and evidence-based educational practices
- Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement high-quality IEPs and educational programming
- Observe, coach, and evaluate teaching staff to promote professional growth and instructional excellence
- Assist in curriculum implementation aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
- Identify and coordinate professional development opportunities for staff
- Foster positive communication and collaboration among educators, specialists, families, and administrators
- Support student behavior management planning and intervention strategies
- Participate in student activities, physical exercise, and school-wide events
- Serve as a role model and leader within the school community
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Massachusetts Special Education Teacher Licensure
- Bachelor's degree required;
Master's degree preferred in Education, Special Education, or a related field - Minimum of two years of experience teaching students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Experience implementing Daily Life Therapy® preferred
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multicultural and collaborative environment
- Positive attitude and commitment to continuous professional growth
This position requires active participation in student programming, including standing, walking, lifting, squatting, and jogging or participating in physical activities alongside students on a daily basis.
