CHIEF ESTMATOR - RANDOLPH MA - Majority of projects are in the Greater Boston area, with occasional projects ranging from Worcester to Rhode Island and Cape Cod. Salary in the range of $120 - $140K BOE.

We're seeking an experienced Chief Estimator to lead our estimating organization and play a critical role in the continued growth and success of the company. Our client, in business since 1914, has grown from a small sheet metal shop into one of New England's leading mechanical contractors.

They deliver complete building systems solutions across HVAC, plumbing, process piping, energy, and industrial manufacturing markets.

The Chief Estimator will provide leadership and strategic oversight for all estimating activities across the organization. This individual will drive consistency, accuracy, efficiency, and innovation throughout the estimating process while developing and mentoring a high-performing team.

You will collaborate closely with Preconstruction, Operations, Sales, and Business Development to ensure competitive, accurate, and profitable bids.

  • 8+ years of mechanical estimating experience
  • Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring estimating professionals
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems
  • Proficiency with estimating software and related technologies
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated with strong communication and relationship-building abilities
