Field Service Engineer
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for designing and optimizing processes for efficient operations, troubleshooting and solutioning Electrical & Instruments (E&I) issues at an operating water plant, and supporting facility operations.
This role involves Control Panel experience and a combination of troubleshooting, maintenance on "Electrical and Instrumentation" systems, and altering/navigating controls programming. Also will service reverse osmosis and water filtration equipment.
What You'll Do:
- Troubleshooting and solutioning of electrical and instrumentation systems
- Programming support (PLC, VFD, MCP etc.)
- Reverse Osmosis and Water Filtration equipment
- Controls narrative suggestions and improvement implementation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Installation of electrical components
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Safety and Environmental Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Develop and implement quality control procedures
- Ensure accurate instrumentation consistency and quality standards are met
- Technical Support
- Provide technical support to colleagues and clients
- Train and educate team members on new processes or products
- Documentation and Reporting: maintain accurate records and documentation
- Prepare reports on production processes and results
- Present findings and recommendations to management or clients.
What You'll Bring:
- 3 year's experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
- Preferred Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and simulation software.
- Knowledge of physical chemical water plants.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Travel: 50% of the time, typically home on weekends
Company Service Vehicle will be provided
The estimated salary range for this position is $100k to $125k. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
