THE LOFT @ la novita salon is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Advanced or Master Stylist who wants more than just a chair.

We're a luxury salon built around exceptional guest experiences, technical excellence, professional growth, and a genuinely collaborative culture. We're looking for an established stylist who loves their craft, values teamwork, and wants to continue growing creatively, professionally, and financially.

Advanced Stylist — 4+ years of on-floor experience
You have strong technical skills in cutting, color, and styling and are comfortable performing advanced services such as balayage, color corrections, extensions, and smoothing treatments. You understand the business behind the chair and are focused on building, retaining, and growing a loyal clientele.

Master Stylist — 7+ years of on-floor experience
You're an accomplished stylist with advanced cutting and color expertise, strong consultation and client-retention skills, and the ability to consistently deliver complex, high-value services. You're also ready to mentor developing artists, contribute to education, and play a larger role in the creative growth of the salon.

At THE LOFT, becoming a Master Stylist isn't the end of your growth.

Assistant → Apprentice → Rising Star → Stylist → Advanced Stylist → Master Stylist → Artistic Director → Senior Artistic Director → Executive Artistic Director

Growth is intentional and based on defined performance goals, technical development, client retention, business growth, professionalism, and leadership — not simply the number of years you've been behind the chair.

Our team receives ongoing coaching and regular performance reviews designed to create clear opportunities for increased earning potential, professional development, and leadership.

You must hold a valid Massachusetts cosmetology license and have at least four years of professional on-floor salon experience
.
