Your Role in Action:
Coordinate and ensure the quality of healthcare services provided to individuals served.
Maintain knowledge of all individuals, including significant medical history, current medical problems, current medications, usual behavior, and presentation; reports changes as necessary and appropriate.
Conduct routine and problem-centered health assessments, develop and implement appropriate interventions, and maintain documentation.
Complete daily, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual nursing assessment notes as needed.
Performs periodic reviews of the medication record to ensure accuracy and reviews all medication occurrence reports.
Provide staff training for pertinent medical concerns.
Provide Medication Administration Program (MAP) training to staff as necessary.
Administer medical treatments prescribed by the individual's physician as per regulations.
Provide first aid in emergency situations and as otherwise necessary
Facilitate in-house psychiatric appointments.
Attend meetings as necessary.
Provide telephone consultation services during shift and have on-call weekend responsibilities on a rotating basis
Your Skills and Talents: A Winning Combination!
Current RN license in MA.
3-5 years' related work experience
Previous medication teaching experience preferred
Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities
Valid driver's license
