Schedule

Monday‑Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM

Starting Pay

$22.00 per hour plus great benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a superior customer service experience to all walk‑in and phone‑contact customers.
  • Personally greet every customer as they walk through the door and maintain friendly contact throughout their shopping experience.
  • At checkout implement suggestive selling techniques, when appropriate, and assist with problem‑solving.
  • Maintain orderly files and clean records of all transactions, as well as an accurate cash drawer.
  • Observe changes in inventory to ensure minimum stock levels and appropriate showroom appearance.
  • Coordinate orders from the warehouse to ensure customers’ orders are ready in a timely fashion.
  • Assume other duties as assigned.
  • Supervisory responsibilities:

    Not responsible for supervising employees.
Minimum Requirements
  • 1 year of experience required.
  • Strong customer service background.
Preferred Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts.
  • Two to three years of prior customer service relations.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Basic arithmetic: add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Compute rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret graphs.
  • Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc.
  • Create, maintain, and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations to support business objectives.
  • Demonstrate moderate oral and written skills; may train others in functional areas and present to department or middle management.
  • Handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment
  • Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements).
  • May be exposed to extreme temperatures, extreme lighting, and high noise levels.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
