Bid Sales Representative

On Deck Sports is looking for a Bid Sales Representative to identify new construction opportunities, prepare accurate quotes, and manage deals from first contact through close. This role is hands‑on and detail‑oriented, with heavy use of the Construct Connect bid platform to mine leads and track active projects. The right person is organized, persistent, and comfortable working a full sales pipeline.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Actively use Construct Connect bid platform daily to identify and qualify new bid opportunities and incorporate On Deck Sports’ full menu of products
  • Research projects, scopes, timelines, and decision‑makers to prioritize the right bids
  • Read and review all bid documents presented for each opportunity
  • Proactively mine for new opportunities and build a steady flow of qualified leads
  • Prepare, write, and submit clear, accurate quotes and proposals
  • Follow up with contractors, estimators, and project stakeholders to win work
  • Manage a sales pipeline from initial lead through award or close‑out
  • Track all activity, bids, and outcomes in the CRM or sales tracking system
  • Coordinate with internal teams to confirm pricing, scope, and capacity
  • Monitor bid results and adjust strategy based on win/loss trends
  • Maintain strong relationships with repeat customers and key accounts
Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using Construct Connect or similar construction bid platforms
  • Background in B2B sales, construction sales, or estimating preferred
  • Comfortable managing multiple bids and deadlines at the same time
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and consistent with follow‑up
  • Able to read and understand basic construction scopes and documents
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and industry‑specific software such as Net Suite
