Maintenance
Maintenance Craftsman/Electrician.
Responsibilities- Perform the regular duties of a maintenance craftsman in schools, including manual labor requiring high skill in maintenance of school buildings.
- Assist the lead electrician in all phases of work, using appropriate methods, materials, equipment and safety precautions.
- Operate motor vehicles, tractors, and trucks under three‑ton capacity, and use small tools for painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical fixtures.
- Maintain and operate low‑pressure boilers, pumps, motors, oil burner fans, heating, ventilation, sound and lighting systems.
- Repair and adjust furniture and other building equipment.
- Install, repair or maintain fences, bleachers and playground equipment.
- Repair electrical fixtures, outlets, mixers, dishwashers and other equipment in school cafeterias.
- Journeyman or Master’s electrical license (Master preferred).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
