Burke Distributing, a local beer distributor that has been in business for over 90 years, is looking to hire Delivery Helpers to deliver beer products to accounts in the Greater Boston Area.

Compensation:

Delivery Helper Rate: $20.40/hour and Incentive Average: $60/day

• Hourly Company Benefit Contribution:
  • Pension Fund (Retirement): $2.90
  • Health and Welfare (Blue Cross Blue Shield) $14.91
    • After 30 days of employment
• Union position with Teamsters Local 653
• Additional 401k plan offered
• Massachusetts Earned Sick Time

• Knowledge of the greater Boston Area
• Ability to use a two-wheeler and electric jack for retail deliveries
• Ability to communicate and work with customers and coworkers in a professional manner

• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to lift up to a 15.5-gallon keg (equivalent to 161 pounds)
• Must successfully pass pre-employment testing including a background check, drug test and strength evaluation
