Distribution Center Associate/Warehouse Associate | Omni Cable

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be operating production equipment—either a Rim Drive or a Re‑spooler—to cut wire to a predetermined length. In addition, you may be asked to perform standard order‑fulfillment tasks.

• Operate forklifts and order pickers for pulling and putting away stock, processing orders, and loading/unloading trailers.
• Inspect inbound stock for quality, count, and type; ensure purchase order, packing slip, and bill of lading accuracy; process stock through computer entry and prepare inventory for put‑away.
• Select shipping methods to meet company requirements and customer expectations; prepare orders for LTL and small parcel shipment; verify shipments are packed properly and accurately.
• Operate value‑adding wire machinery within the DC, including stripe/dye machines, wire strippers, twisters, and lashing equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping and equipment standards; fill required equipment checklists; keep the distribution center clean and organized; adhere to 5S standards.

• Authorized to work in the United States, at least 18 years of age, and have an HS diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills.
• High energy, dependable teamwork attitude, and effective communication skills.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekends for additional compensation.
• Ability to bend, twist, lift up to 50 lbs., and stand up to 8 hours a day.
• Work will be performed in a distribution center environment with fluctuating temperatures.
• All future employees are required to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
