Preschool Assistant Director

About the Position

Preschool Assistant Director with leadership experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education. Responsible for creating a safe preschool environment, coaching staff, overseeing finances, community outreach, ensuring compliance, and managing hiring and training.

• Create a safe, welcoming environment where children learn, play, and grow.

• Proven success as an Assistant Director at a large school.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on teaching experience.
• Meet state licensing standards, including criminal background screening and fingerprinting.
• Bachelor’s degree + 6+ months in group childcare, or Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, or Associate’s degree (or equivalent) + 1+ year supervisory and 2+ years group childcare.
• Deep knowledge of national and state education standards, licensing, fire, health, and OSHA regulations.
• Strong understanding of USDA Nutritional Standards for Schools.
• At least 21 years old with corporate driving requirements met.
