Job SummaryAll adjunct faculty positions aim to create a dynamic teaching/learning environment for students while contributing service to the college. Responsibilities include teaching assigned courses, following the course description and outline established by the department, and possibly delivering day, evening, online, or hybrid instruction. Additional duties may include participation in departmental initiatives such as assessment and responding to requests regarding grades and other course-related content.
QualificationsEducation
- Minimum of a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in French (Literature or Linguistics), French/European Area Studies, or a related field.
Experience
- Prior college or university teaching experience preferred.
Skills
- Native or near‑native fluency in French.
- Demonstrated knowledge of language teaching and learning methodologies and techniques.
- Familiarity with learning management systems desired.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
