Job Title:

Laboratory Technician

Role Overview :

+ The Quality Control Technician (also titled Quality Support or Quality Specialist) plays a hands‑on, floor‑focused role supporting quality operations in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

+ This role ensures products meet regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Operations & Floor Support

+ Manage the full lifecycle of quality issues during manufacturing

+ Triage and resolve line issues in real time

+ Perform AQL inspections and utilize measurement tools (calipers, scales, etc.)

+ Conduct inspections throughout the process and support overall floor compliance

Quality Systems & Documentation

+ Support deviations, investigations, and customer complaint responses

+ Assist with CAPAs and audit activities

+ Utilize IQMS for quality tracking and reporting

+ Revise existing SOPs and author new SOPs as needed

Additional Responsibilities

+ Process product returns (RMA/RNA)

+ Perform incoming inspections on materials and components

+ Coordinate and support internal audits

+ Collaborate closely with the Quality Systems Managers

Required Skills & Experience

+ Hands‑on quality experience in a manufacturing environment

+ Experience revising or authoring SOPs

+ Inspection experience, including AQL and use of measurement/inspection tools

+ Understanding of calibration concepts and their impact on quality

+ Strong knowledge of SOPs, batch documentation, and quality records

+ Proficiency with Excel and/or ERP systems

+ Degree is helpful but not required-experience is the priority

+ Ideal backgrounds include medical device, C&IP/nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing

+ Food‑only experience is generally not a strong match

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Randolph, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
