Sales Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer with a proven track record in long-cycle sales, specializing in customized and engineered solutions for medium to large-sized manufacturers within a competitive market. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in qualifying and closing new opportunities using a value-based sales process. As a key player in the sales team, you will engage with senior managers, leveraging your expertise to drive business growth and establish lasting relationships.

• Able to engage in consultative selling weighing the pros and cons of a solution and articulating the best path forward.
• Able to handle objections and negotiate based on value to close a complex sale.
• Develop quarterly revenue forecasts and execute individual strategic annual sales plans incorporating necessary tactical goals to attain annual targets.
• This position does require traveling to clients, approximately 25%-30% travel is required.
• Total OTE is expected to range between $140,000- $160,000
• Base salary: $112,000-$128,000 (Depending on experience level)
• Variable Compensation will make up the remainder and will be based on:
• Overall company revenue growth in comparison to previous year
• Sales territory revenue from new accounts or inactive legacy accounts
• Semi-annual management directed activity. i.e. X RFQ’s in Y End Market.
