Mobile Truck and Trailer Technician

Prestige Fleet Services offers on‑site truck and trailer maintenance to keep fleets on the road. We are seeking experienced technicians to provide high‑quality repairs and inspections.

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6‑8 trucks and trailers, including brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after‑treatment systems, lift‑gates, tires, and more.
• Schedule and oversee all maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair or replace vehicle/trailer components.
• Open and close repair orders on a company‑issued device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and all other documentation in a timely fashion.

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience.
• Communication skills.
• Ability to work extended or irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Self‑motivated with excellent organization and planning skills.
• Ability to use a computer or tablet for electronic processing of work orders (adding labor hours, updating work order statuses).
• 2 years of experience performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• 3 years of experience in truck/trailer maintenance and repair or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Experience working on reefer units.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must possess proper tools.

• High school education or equivalent.
• Certifications are a plus.
• Welding experience.
• CDL license is a plus.

Work outdoors and be exposed to extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, and humidity.

$30–$40 per hour, commensurate with experience. USD $29.00–$36.00 per hour.
