Warehouse Associate (Receiving) Job Purpose Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and organized manner.
What you will do- Load and unload freight as required.
- Reconcile and record all inbound receipts of product and materials via ERP system.
- Perform visual inspection of received, in-process and finished components, sub-assemblies and product.
- Ensure proper identification, disposition and routing of product.
- Use ERP to complete process steps, material movements, forms and records.
- Process associated conformance and non-conformance material documentation.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
- Accurately pull inventory for stock replenishment and customer order fulfillment.
- Inspect, clean, package and label product for stock.
- Maintain inventory controls.
- Maintain accurate and complete Receiving, Inventory Records.
- Accurately identify and count physical inventory as listed on the cycle count list.
- Follow all safety requirements.
- Organize work and storage areas for efficient workflow.
- Maintain warehouse in a organized, clean, uncluttered and safe manner.
- Maintain company quality standards.
- Perform, as assigned, other similar or related duties.
- Works under direct supervision and in accordance with instructions and techniques.
- High School Diploma/GED required, some college preferred.
- 1+ years of warehouse experience required.
- Demonstrated strong emphasis on customer satisfaction.
- Warehouse and Distribution experience.
- Inventory/Material Control experience.
- Basic computer skills: ERP or SAP experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively and with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong emphasis in working as part of a team.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to move/lift up to 70 lbs unassisted.
- Hours are 9-5 pm.

A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this role is $18-$22/hour. Further, pay is offered based on geographic location, internal equity, market data, applicant’s job-related skills, commensurate experience, required licensures, certifications, and certain degrees.
