What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Lead and develop a team of 25-30 technical sales professionals to drive achievement of annual client targets
  • Monitor market trends, identify customer needs, and build a strong sales pipeline aligned with regional growth plans
  • Act as the subject matter expert for the Canadian region, influencing client decisions on products and solutions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align strategy across outreach, marketing, training, and education initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with utility partners, trade allies, and industry stakeholders to enhance program visibility
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • A minimum of 15+ years in business development or technical sales, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Strong background in the energy industry and experience with commercial/industrial customers
  • Proven success in customer engagement strategies and trade ally partnerships
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills for diverse audiences
  • Willingness to travel within Canada (short trips, up to once/month)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Technical or engineering degree or background, along with an existing C&I/trade ally network
  • Visionary leadership skills with the ability to create actionable plans
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, including implementation and development
  • Skilled collaborator across cross-functional and multi-location teams
  • Ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively
