The Role Director Of Global Distribution

We are looking for a Director of Global Distribution to join our team. In this role, you will have an opportunity to act as the primary liaison between Revelyst and our strategic 3PL, ensuring seamless operational performance, service excellence, and alignment with business goals.
This position reports to the Sr. Director, Global Logistics Transformation and is based in Rantoul, Il.
As the Director of Global Distribution, you will have an opportunity to:
- Site leader for Revelyst operations and cross-functional staff working out of Rantoul facility
- General Manager responsibility for postponement manufacturing / customization operations and on-site facility maintenance
- On-site leadership support for local customer service and finance business partners
- Serve as the on-site Revelyst business lead for 3PL distribution partner
- Lead regular business reviews and performance meetings.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationship with 3PL partner and internal stakeholders
- Represent distribution operations during performance reviews, capacity planning, and business strategy meetings with senior leadership.
- Monitor daily distribution and warehousing operations to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met
- Collaborate with internal Revelyst stakeholders to forecast demand and align capacity with 3PL partner
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment.
- Manage operational performance in compliance with Free Trade Zone certification.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as dock-to-stock, inventory accuracy, order quality, and on-time delivery
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance cost efficiency and customer experience.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action plans for service failures
- Manage site level budget, forecasting, and cost control
- Review and validate 3PL invoices for accuracy
- Ensure compliance with Revelyst and 3PL contractual obligations
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain management, preferably with 3PL oversight.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, transportation, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in logistics systems (WMS, TMS, ERP).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in multi-channel fulfillment operations (e-commerce, specialty retail, and national retail) is a plus.
