Rantoul Township High School is wanting to add a Business/Computer Education teacher. Business classes are some of the most requested classes S enjoys the demographics of a small urban community in a rural setting. The student population is around 750 students. A culture of collaboration has been established throughout the school. RTHS receives students from 6 different feeder schools. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic who is focused on student success.
RTHS has a strong technology base. Chromebooks are widely utilized throughout the school. The Business Education Teacher would be part of a strong Career and Technical Education program. RTHS is committed to recruiting, hiring and retaining candidates of diversity.
Rantoul is located 15 miles north of Champaign-Urbana. Rantoul is also equidistant from the three metropolitan areas of Chicago, Indianapolis and St. Louis. The Village of Rantoul has approximately 12,000 residents.
BenefitsSalary can be found in the collective bargaining agreement s193.org. The school district recognizes years of service when placing teachers on the salary schedule. Salary is based on experience and education level. The school district pays 100% of the employee's healthcare insurance premiums. Tuition reimbursement is available for advanced education. QualificationsIllinois teacher licensure in the appropriate content area or Career and Technical Educator License
