Job title: Quality Control Line Inspector

Reports to: Quality Control Supervisor

Job summary: Perform routine Line clearance and Purge process.

• Perform Line Inspections including verification of product weights & torques and verification of line clearance and purge.
• Collect, label, and submit retain, finished product and micro samples.
• Monitor and maintain retains and retain room.
• Perform line log entries, audit sanitization logs and Perform stencil verifications.
• Verify aerosol line kick off sheet clearance, maintenance, and completion and perform spray outs.
• Notify supervisors and place product on hold for management review when necessary.
• Write inspection reports, daily negative line reports, and distribute.
• Check finished goods pallet after packaging and apply status stickers to pallet as needed.
• Inspect product received from contract packers and fillers.
• Collect and send out samples per corporate and customers’ requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in work areas.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, SOP’s and GMPs.
• Perform backup for line leads and paperwork processing when necessary.
• Perform rework pallet verifications
• Perform other duties as assigned by the QC Supervisor.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must posse’s good math skills to perform mathematical functions in daily work.
• Neat and legible handwriting.
• Previous Production and/ or Quality Control experience required.
• Ability to use balances, torque meters, and other measuring devices and equipment.
• Possess excellent time management skills and work with minimal supervision.
