JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our growing team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Conduct random Quality Audits daily.
- These include dock audits, product audits, process audits, 1st off-inspection audits, and countermeasure effectiveness audits.
- If non-conformances are found notify TL and/or GM to solve the issue.
- Contain suspect products when larger quantities are found.
- Inspect applicable service units.
- Create and review quality alerts with production.
- Assist Production Lines with Problem‑Solving projects.
- Special inspection requests.
- Audit win numbers on glass where applicable.
- Train new team members to quality standards.
- Complete receiving inspection per schedule.
- Other tasks/assignments as assigned by the Quality Group Manager or Quality Manager.
- This is a full‑time position and requires regular attendance and possible overtime.
- Safety and Security – observes safety and security procedures, reports unsafe conditions, uses equipment properly and enforces policies.
- Technical Skills – able to read drawings, use measurement tools, Microsoft Word/Excel, assess abilities and build knowledge.
