Associate Chemist

This is a great opportunity for a motivated chemist looking to build a career in personal care formulation. The Associate Chemist will support the development of hair care products (shampoo, conditioners, gels), foundations, lotions, sunscreens, and other personal care products, gaining hands‑on experience while contributing fresh ideas to the growth of the company.

• Formulating, researching, testing, and troubleshooting for the development and stability of new and existing personal care products
• Developing new formulas from scratch and reformulating existing products
• Researching and utilizing new raw materials for formulas
• Managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously
• Collaborating cross‑functionally with Production, Quality, and other stakeholders throughout product development
• Maintaining compliance with cGMP standards and safety protocols

• Prior experience in personal care or cosmetics formulation is preferred, but candidates with relevant coursework, internships, or research experience are also encouraged to apply
• Foundational understanding of emulsions, surfactant chemistry, polymers and film formers, and preservative systems
• Strong interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn and grow within a team environment
• Creative, self‑motivated, and eager to think outside the box in a fast‑paced environment

B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field

The salary for this position is up to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
