Senior Accountant

Our client is a Los Angeles based institutional investment manager and is adding a Senior Accountant to its corporate finance team. This is a broad, hands on role covering the core accounting cycle, with exposure to a global investment management business and room to grow within a lean, high quality team.

• Own key parts of the monthly, quarterly and year end close, including journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules, and analyze results and variances.
• Support revenue and management fee accounting, expenses and intercompany activity.
• Assist with the annual audit, tax filings and regulatory reporting.
• Help improve processes, controls and reporting as the business evolves.

• 6+ years of accounting experience, ideally combining public accounting with asset management or financial services.
• Strong command of GAAP and the full close process.
• Advanced Excel skills;
  Net Suite experience is a plus.
• Detail oriented, organized and comfortable owning deliverables end to end.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or CPA track preferred.
