Superintendent - Federal Construction
A rapidly growing, employee-owned federal construction contractor is seeking a Superintendent to lead a ground-up Federal Construction project (~$54M) in Rapid City, SD. This is a client-facing role for a solution-driven leader who maintains a strong onsite presence and a healthy relationship with the Corps.

Schedule:
M-F, 7 AM-4 PM
Responsibilities:
- Lead the project from mobilization through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Supervise Assistant Superintendents, Carpenters, and Laborers; manage and hold subcontractors accountable.
- Oversee scheduling, budgets, and cost control.
- Handle RFIs, change orders, QC, daily documentation, as-builts, permits, inspections, site logistics, and commissioning.
- Serve as primary onsite contact with USACE.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years as Superintendent or equivalent; leadership required
- Federal construction experience required
- Managed projects $40M+ (ideally $50-100M+), including a complete ground-up build
- Able to meet Corps requirements even under other federal/military agencies
- High school diploma or equivalent; valid driver's license
- OSHA 10; QCQM certification (federal)
- Proficient in Primavera P6, RMS, MS Office, Bluebeam, and scheduling software
- Must be US Citizen
Preferred:
- OSHA 30
- First Aid/CPR/AED
- General contractor background
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Machinery operation certifications
