Monument Health Rapid City Hospital is seeking an experienced and compassionate Program Director to lead our ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program
. This full‑time position calls for a Board‑Certified Family Medicine physician with strong leadership and administrative skills to oversee program operations, ensuring compliance with ACGME standards while fostering a supportive, community‑oriented learning environment.
The Family Medicine Residency Program Director provides strategic leadership, administrative oversight, and educational direction for the Family Medicine Residency Program. This role ensures the program meets all accreditation standards, delivers high‑quality clinical training, and fosters an environment where residents and faculty can thrive. The Program Director serves as a clinical and academic role model, guiding the program’s vision while advancing excellence in patient care, education, and community health.
Our residency program is housed in a 24,000‑square‑foot healing environment with 26 exam rooms, two dedicated procedure rooms, an osteopathic manipulation table, and on‑site laboratory and radiology services. Faculty and residents deliver comprehensive care—including inpatient, outpatient, obstetrics, and procedures—to a diverse population.
