** Black Hills Surgical Hospital is seeking a BE/BC Neurologist to the practice in Rapid City, SD.

•

Schedule:

Monday-Friday   
• 16-20 patients per day in clinic  
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, headaches, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, and cognitive disorders.  
• Develop individualized treatment plans for optimal outcomes, patient education, and long-term disease management.

• Maintain accurate, timely and comprehensive documentation of electronic medical record.

• Manage patients' medication and follow up on its efficacy and risk

** Job Description
** Neurology Core Privileges include the ability to perform history and physical examination, admit (if applicable to the setting), provide consultative services, evaluate, diagnose, and provide nonsurgical care to patients of all ages presenting with illnesses, injuries, and disorders of the neurologic system.

* * M.D. or D.O. degree.

An applicant who has just completed a residency shall provide his/her residency logs and a list of completed rotations, as applicable.

ORAn applicant who is not applying directly out of a residency shall provide a quality profile from hospital(s) where he/she currently has privileges showing his/her clinical activity for the last 12 months, to include number of procedures performed-morbidity, mortality, infection rates and other complications. The applicant must be able to demonstrate active involvement of inpatient services to be at least 50 patients in the last 12 months.
