Lecturer-Geology and Geological Engineering/Black Hills Natural Sciences Field Station (BHNSFS)
The Black Hills Natural Sciences Field Station (BHNSFS) at South Dakota School of Mines & Technology is seeking temporary Lecturers for three-to-five-week sessions of Geology and Geological Engineering field camps, and/or other specialty camps as needed. The camps are taught from various locations in the Black Hills, and other locations within the U.S. and abroad. For more information on camps and locations, visit .
Selected candidates are expected to live at the camp during the session. There is a possibility of continued employment, dependent on performance, funding, and student enrollment.
A Ph.D. in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related field is required; experience teaching geology and/or engineering field camps is preferred. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. These are temporary, non-benefited positions.
