** This is a NIGHT SHIFT Position (From 10:00pm to 6:00am)**
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager II with a strong MEPF background to support a major terminal improvement program at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
The Project Manager will support the planning, design, construction, testing, commissioning, and turnover of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, building automation, and related building systems
. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex MEP systems on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects in active operational environments.
- Manage MEPF scope, schedule, budget, and project performance.
- Coordinate MEPF design, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with designers, contractors, consultants, vendors, operations, and maintenance teams.
- Review RFIs, submittals, technical changes, and construction documentation.
- Identify and resolve design, constructability, and system-integration issues.
- Coordinate system shutdowns, tie-ins, phasing, and activities affecting existing operations.
- Conduct field investigations and infrastructure assessments.
- Support project closeout, including as-builts, O&M manuals, training, warranties, and system turnover.
- 8+ years of experience managing MEP systems design and construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire/life safety, BAS, and controls systems
. - Experience with commissioning, system integration, and turnover.
- Experience on large-scale infrastructure projects;
airport experience preferred
. - Experience with Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and/or CMAR delivery.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam; familiarity with Revit/BIM coordination tools preferred.
- PE, PMP, LEED, or other relevant professional certification is a plus.
This is a NIGHT SHIFT Position (From 10:00pm to 6:00am)
This is an on-site position at LAX and is not a work-from-home opportunity. Some after-hours or weekend work may be required based on project needs.
