We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support the accuracy and integrity of the bank's financial records. This role is responsible for general ledger reconciliations, accounts payable processing, financial reporting, and account balancing activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy in a fast-paced financial environment.

- Reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts, researching and resolving discrepancies.
- Verify general ledger accuracy and assist with maintaining balanced accounts and financial records.
- Process accounts payable transactions and related reporting activities.
- Reconcile correspondent bank accounts and other assigned financial accounts.
- Support cash management activities, official check settlements, and CDARS transactions.
- Prepare reports, maintain accurate documentation, and provide support for departmental operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of accounting, bookkeeping, or related financial experience preferred.
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial services operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
