Monitoring compliance with applicable laws and rules and accounting and reporting systems. Creation/preparation of subaward documents and reverse contract for services, including completion of forms, certification requirements, interpretation of guidelines, and compliance with regulations. Review/approval of subaward invoices and expenditures. Processing all sub awardee change requests. Review of cost share documentation received from subawardees. Financial and data reporting including completion of reports for multiple agencies.

Updating outside agency systems with our current information and other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), practices and standards; generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS). Ability to develop subawards and reverse contract for services; review/approve subaward invoices and expenditures; interpret, comprehend and apply laws, rules and regulations for a variety of funding agencies and the State of SD; research, compile and analyze data, providing high level of accuracy with attention to detail;

establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships, interacting in a supportive manner with students, faculty, staff and outside agencies; communicate information clearly, concisely and accurately to others both in oral and written form, expressing ideas in a manner that the user can understand, exercising tact, patience and professional demeanor; handle multiple tasks, prioritize accordingly and meet strict deadlines; use a computer;

provide outstanding customer service.

Occasional travel, including overnight stays, may be required. Applications must be made online.
