Loan Officer Assistant

This client is hiring due to high demand! This LOA will support a successful Loan Officer by managing document collection, client communications, pipeline tracking, and regulatory compliance to ensure smooth, efficient loan processing.

• File Preparation & Documentation: Gather, verify, and review client financial records (income, credit, assets). Track missing items and prepare accurate loan files for submission.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between loan officers, clients, and underwriters. Deliver pipeline updates and manage scheduling.
• Compliance & Quality Control: Perform pre-closing file reviews to ensure full compliance with internal policies and lending regulations.
• Administrative Operations: Maintain electronic document filing, field client inquiries, and generate status reports.

• Prior background as a Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) or Loan Processor highly preferred. Related client-facing background would be considerable, such as real estate, title, or insurance work.
• Proficiency with Encompass loan software (ideal) and MS Office Suite (required).
• Strong understanding of mortgage lending guidelines and regulatory standards, ideal.
• Detail-oriented, proactive problem solver with strong time management and communication skills.

This role pays an hourly rate/salary as well as a competitive incentive per file.
