Salary: $70,000 - $73,000 annually
OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Mortgage Loan Processor to join our growing team in Koreatown. The ideal candidate will have experience managing residential mortgage loan files from application through closing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional customer service throughout the lending process.
Key Responsibilities- Process residential mortgage loans from application to funding.
- Review loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Collect, verify, and organize borrower financial documents, including income, assets, credit, and employment information.
- Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, escrow officers, and third-party vendors to obtain required documentation and resolve conditions.
- Submit complete loan packages for underwriting review.
- Review underwriting conditions and coordinate with borrowers and relevant parties to ensure timely clearance.
- Monitor loan pipelines and maintain accurate records within the loan origination system.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, investor, and company lending guidelines.
- Meet processing deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service and regular loan status updates throughout the process.
- 3+ years of mortgage loan processing experience.
- Strong understanding of conventional, FHA, VA, and Jumbo loan programs.
- Experience working with underwriting guidelines and loan documentation requirements.
- Proficiency with mortgage loan origination systems (LOS) and related mortgage software.
- Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills. - Ability to manage multiple loan files in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience processing high-volume mortgage loan pipelines.
- Bilingual English/Korean or English/Spanish is a plus.
- Experience working with lenders, brokers, escrow, and title companies.
