- Provide direction and supervision to clinical staff, including therapists, nurses, case managers, and other licensed professionals.
- Establish and maintain clinical protocols, policies, and evidence‑based practices.
- Conduct regular case reviews, audits, and quality assurance activities to ensure high standards of care.
- Serve as the primary clinical resource for complex cases and escalated concerns.
- Design, implement, and evaluate clinical programs that meet community needs and organizational objectives.
- Monitor program performance, outcomes, and service utilization.
- Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and patient experience.
- Oversee accreditation, licensing, and compliance activities.
- Recruit, onboard, and mentor clinical staff.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative, supportive, and growth‑oriented clinical culture.
- Ensure staff maintain required credentials and continuing education.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as payer requirements.
- Maintain documentation standards and oversee clinical recordkeeping.
- Lead internal audits and prepare for external reviews or inspections.
- Implement corrective action plans when needed.
- Work closely with executive leadership on strategic planning and organizational initiatives.
- Coordinate with administrative, billing, and operations teams to support smooth service delivery.
- Represent the organization in community partnerships, stakeholder meetings, and professional networks.
- Communicate clinical priorities, updates, and expectations clearly across teams.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for clinical programs.
- Monitor productivity, caseloads, and staffing levels to ensure operational efficiency.
- Support grant writing, reporting, and program evaluation efforts when applicable.
Education & Licensure
- Master’s or doctoral degree in a clinical field (e.g., psychology, counseling, social work, nursing, or related discipline).
- Additional certifications or supervisory credentials preferred.
- 5+ years of clinical experience, including supervisory or leadership roles.
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or social services settings.
- Strong understanding of evidence‑based practices, clinical workflows, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Commitment to ethical practice, cultural competence, and patient‑centered care.
