We are seeking a Staffing Coordinator to join our team!
Hospital DetailsLocated in Rapid City, South Dakota, the Rehabilitation and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills is equipped with 36 inpatient medical rehabilitation beds and 18 long-term acute care beds. As a new cornerstone of specialized care in the region, our hospital uniquely combines two levels of care under one roof. This integrated approach allows us to offer comprehensive care solutions for patients who’ve suffered a range of debilitating injuries, illnesses, surgeries, and chronic medical conditions.
At the Rehabilitation and Critical Care Hospital of the Black Hills, we are dedicated to delivering advanced treatments and compassionate care to help our patients recover and regain their independence.
Responsible for the coordination of all unit staffing plans, participating in the assessment of staffing needs, scheduling nursing personnel hours, adjusting staffing as required, and calling in replacement personnel at the discretion of nursing leadership. Additionally this position is responsible for assisting with various human resources forms and processes, including but not limited to status changes, new hire forms, requisitions, arranging follow up interviews with applicants, and tracking evaluations and absences.
Performs timecard edits and runs appropriate time and attendance reports.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in scheduling and time and attendance tracking required.
- Minimum of one (1) previous administrative experience in a healthcare environment required.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
