Salary: $20.84 hourly, based on qualifications. Pay Grade: F
Full‑time position.
Responsibilities include transportation of parents and children, support services to family service specialists, and provision of services in families’ homes while assessing safety and providing intervention.
Work occurs in departmental offices, client homes, and courtrooms. Applicants may encounter high‑level stress, emotional situations, physical danger, and disease exposure. The role requires lifting up to 30 lbs, a valid driver’s license, and may involve flexible hours, overtime, weekend and overnight travel.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Childcare practices supporting a safe, healthy, and supportive environment (preferred but not required)
- Establish and maintain effective collaborative working relationships and demonstrate compassion, respect, courtesy, and tact when interacting with others
- Utilize computerized data and technology systems
- Prepare clear and concise documentation, reports, and correspondence reflecting relevant facts
- Actively listen, elicit needed information, and effectively communicate
- Organize time and resources to complete assignments and meet schedules and deadlines
- Operate motor vehicle to transport children and family members
- Make appropriate and timely decisions in stressful situations and maintain objectivity
