IT Project Manager, Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, IT Support
Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 + Bonus + 100% Employer Paid Benefits + Excellent PTO
Our industry leading client is searching for a hands‑on IT Manager to lead infrastructure and service operations across a multi‑site enterprise environment. This position is ideal for a technically strong leader who can own day‑to‑day IT operations while modernizing platforms and strengthening security and controls in the Rapid City, SD area.
The IT Manager will oversee core infrastructure including Azure, VMware (vSphere), and Cisco routing/switching, ensuring high availability and performance across office and jobsite locations. You’ll manage Windows server services (AD/DNS/DHCP), enterprise networking, backup/DR, and endpoint management (SCCM/Intune).
In this role, you will also lead service desk operations, improve SLAs and MTTR, support ERP and field applications while enforcing strong security, patching, and IAM. Ideal candidates will have direct team leadership experience, a background in vendor coordination, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Requirements for the IT Manager:- Strong hands‑on infrastructure expertise with Azure, VMware, Cisco routing/switching
- 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including management responsibility
- Experience administering Windows Server, AD, networking, and backup/DR
- Background leading service desk operations and ITSM practices
- Understanding of security controls, access governance, and operational compliance
- Experience in a Fortune 500 environment is desired
- Relevant certifications (ITIL, VCP, CCNA, Microsoft, Veeam) is a plus
