Pay Rate: $20.00 - 21.50/hr. with based on benefit inclusions
Job SummaryThe Quality Assurance Analyst – Visual & Interactive Applications supports the development and delivery of high?quality visual, simulation, and interactive software experiences. This role focuses on validating functionality, usability, and performance across desktop, VR, and real?time 3D applications. The analyst collaborates closely with designers, developers, and project stakeholders to establish and execute quality standards, identify defects early, and ensure consistent, reliable user experiences throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Execute manual quality assurance testing for visual, simulation, VR, and desktop applications.
- Validate software functionality, usability, performance, and visual accuracy against defined requirements and quality standards.
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and defect documentation.
- Log, track, and verify defect resolution using a project management or defect tracking tool.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to clarify requirements, reproduce issues, and confirm fixes.
- Support the creation and continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices.
- Participate in reviews of builds, features, and releases to ensure readiness for delivery.
- Manage assigned QA projects and tasks through a project management platform.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required.
- 0–2 years of experience in quality assurance, software testing, or a related technical role (internships and academic projects accepted).
- Experience or academic exposure to Unity or Unreal Engine, VR applications, or desktop software.
- Familiarity with software or game development life cycles and testing methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly document issues.
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities.
- Foundational knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles, design tools, and technical documentation.
- Introductory knowledge of programming or scripting concepts (e.g., JavaScript, Visual Basic, Linux environments).
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy and quality focus.
