A Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI’s in-center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and high-quality outcomes for every patient.
This position is part of a new Joint Venture with dialysis experienced management. Includes 12 weeks of orientation and nursing preceptor process.
Schedule:
Potential full-time shifts vary from four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts, set upon hiring;
Sundays off; no overnight shifts.
Compensation:
Pay range starts at $34 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience.

Responsibilities
What You Can Expect:
- Prepare dialysis machine, alarms, and supplies, ensuring quality standards
- Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies
- Ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching
- Monitor patients during dialysis, assess changes, communicate with physicians and families
- Administer and chart medications
- Follow infection control regulations
- Participate in care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews
- Document patient education efforts
- Facilitate continuity of care with hospitals
- Assist in medication inventory
- Lead a small patient care team
- Contribute to onboarding new staff
- Additional tasks as needed
Qualifications

Education/Training
- Accredited nursing degree required
- Dialysis experience not required; job shadow opportunities available
- DCI provides 3 months of comprehensive training
