A Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI’s in-center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and high-quality outcomes for every patient.

This position is part of a new Joint Venture with dialysis experienced management. Includes 12 weeks of orientation and nursing preceptor process.

Schedule:
Potential full-time shifts vary from four 10-hour shifts or three 12-hour shifts, set upon hiring;
Sundays off; no overnight shifts.

Compensation:
Pay range starts at $34 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience.

Responsibilities

What You Can Expect:

• Prepare dialysis machine, alarms, and supplies, ensuring quality standards
• Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies
• Ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching
• Monitor patients during dialysis, assess changes, communicate with physicians and families
• Administer and chart medications
• Follow infection control regulations
• Participate in care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews
• Document patient education efforts
• Facilitate continuity of care with hospitals
• Assist in medication inventory
• Lead a small patient care team
• Contribute to onboarding new staff
• Additional tasks as needed

Education/Training

• Accredited nursing degree required
• Dialysis experience not required; job shadow opportunities available
• DCI provides 3 months of comprehensive training
• New graduates encouraged to apply
