Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience excluding travel experience is preferred.
License:
Registered Nurse license required.

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC required.

Must-Have:
- Comfortability working a 48-hour/week contract.
- Epic experience.

- Experience with complex ICU patients including surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma cases.
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
- Ability to work well in a team setting and in a fast-paced environment.

Description:

This position involves caring for complex ICU patients in a mixed unit framework.
Patients include those with diagnoses such as ARDS, myocardial infarction, stroke, COVID-19, and post-surgical conditions.

Experience with cardiac patients and medications such as vasopressors, sedation, and paralytics is preferred.
Candidates should be comfortable managing ventilators, hemodynamic lines, and telemetry.
Ability to float to other adult floors if needed may be required.
Working alongside support staff including nurse aides is expected.
Weekend rotation may include every other weekend based on staffing needs.
No requests for time off during holidays or special events will be accepted.
