Description:

The facility provides care for psychiatric patients, including children, adolescents, and adults.
Patients may present with diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and psychosis.
Nurses are responsible for administering medications, completing assessments, and evaluating care plans.
Participation in patient safety rounds and documentation is required.
Nurses must be prepared to manage challenging behaviors and provide de-escalation techniques.
Support staff, including security, are available 24/7 to assist caregivers.
The facility utilizes a charting system; experience with EPIC is preferred.
All nurses will have access to ongoing training and must complete assigned responsibilities effectively.
Candidates should be open to floating between units as necessary based on staffing needs.
Weekend rotations and holiday expectations apply to all staff members.
