Travel LPN - LPN

American Traveler is hiring a travel LPN for a Palliative Care position in Rapid City, SD, requiring at least 1.5 years of experience and clinic setting skills including telehealth and in-person patient care.

Job Details

• Outpatient palliative care setting serving a palliative care patient population,

• Average caseload of approximately 8 patients per day across most clinic days,

• Schedule consists primarily of telehealth half-days (approximately three per week) with one in-person clinic half-day every other week - subject to change,

• 40-hour work week on 8-hour day shifts,

• Charts in Epic EMR,

• No floating required; may assist with home health quality work queues during downtime,

• No weekend rotation, on-call, or holiday coverage required,

Job Requirements

• Current LPN license required (license required if applicable),

• Minimum 1.5 years of LPN experience,

• Clinic setting experience required, including patient check-in and rooming, patient scheduling, phone triage, prescription call-ins, and authorization of visits and prescriptions,

• Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing,

• Current BLS certification required,

• Two professional references dated within the past year required for consideration,

• DOB and SSN required for consideration,

• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible,

• First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience,

• Former permanent staff must wait at least 1 full year before returning as a traveler,

• Orientation is approximately 4-5 days,

• No required scrub color,
