Nursing Assistant

Mobridge Regional Hospital has an opening for a full-time or part-time Nursing Assistant,

We are looking for someone with great people skills, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude to join our team and provide compassionate care to our patients.

The Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing direct patient care in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. This position works cooperatively with all levels of staff while maintaining a respectful and supportive environment for patients, families, and coworkers.

• Provide direct patient care (bathing, grooming, oral care, nutrition, mobility, and elimination)
• Take and record vital signs; report any abnormalities
• Assist nurses with treatments and daily care tasks
• Accurately document care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Maintain patient confidentiality and treat all individuals with respect and dignity
• Ensure patient rooms and work areas are clean, stocked, and safe
• Use proper infection control procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Operate basic medical equipment (e.g., lifts, vital sign machines)
• Communicate effectively with team members and support a positive work environment

• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license (required for Home Health roles)
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills

• Maintain professionalism, reliability, and punctuality
• Follow hospital policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols
• Support team members and contribute to a positive patient experience
