Salary Range: $20.00 - $29.50
Pay Info: $5,000.00 sign on bonus
- Ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients
- Documents a thorough medical history from patient
- Contributes to the assessment of patients and administers medications or treatments as ordered
- Provides technical support to healthcare professionals
- Counseling patients and family, under the direction of a registered nurse, on prevention and treatment plans
- MA — Must be a graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred. Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (MA). Certification (CMA) obtained through a nationally approved certification program (e.g., AAMA, CCMA, CMAC, NCMA). Registration (RMA) obtained through the American Medical Technologists (AMT) is also acceptable. Some roles require ND MAIII registration (ND Board of Nursing) within 4 months of hire and may require supervision of medication administration prior to MAIII registration.
MAs in MN, IA, SD, and OR may not require state registration. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment; re-certification as required. - LPN — Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. If the position requires IV therapy/management, North Dakota requires graduation from a Board-approved AASPN program with IV therapy in the curriculum or an ND Board-approved IV Therapy course. Must hold an unencumbered LPN license and maintain department-specific competencies and certifications.
