Role:
Stepdown RN
Responsibilities:Provide specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care, monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs, administer medications, assist with cardiac procedures, observe patient reactions, respond to emergencies, document assessments, educate patients on cardiac health, collaborate with the healthcare team, and ensure safety and confidentiality.
Qualifications & Skills- One year of recent Stepdown RN experience
- Valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications
- Preferred: PCCN and NIHSS certifications
- Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English, PC skills, and physical ability to perform duties
- Ability to handle fast-paced, detailed work and work effectively with diverse teams
Monitor telemetry data, administer treatments, assist with cardiac procedures, respond to emergencies, maintain patient safety, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
