Registered Nurse - ICU

The role involves providing nursing care to complex ICU patients, including those with surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma conditions. Requires experience with ICU-specific diagnoses and treatments and working within a high-paced environment. RN must be qualified to work in ICU and potentially float to ED.

• Care for ICU patients with a variety of conditions, including post-surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma
• Administer IV medications, manage ventilators, and perform telemetry monitoring
• Collaborate effectively with a team and communicate patient updates as necessary
• May need to float to other adult floors, including Medsurg/Tele, if overstaffed

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required

Completion of a nursing education program approved by a nursing board

Experience with ICU-level patient care, including hemodynamic monitoring and ventilation management

Prior travel nurse experience and comfort working a 48-hour week

Epic experience and ability to manage rapidly changing clinical scenarios
