Role:

Travel Stepdown RN, responsible for providing specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care, focusing on cardiac monitoring and interventions.

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect abnormalities
• Administer medications and treatments, assist with cardiac procedures
• Assess patient condition, document physical assessments, and respond to cardiac emergencies
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience
• Valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications
• Preferred: PCCN and NIHSS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English, PC skills, and ability to follow instructions
• Physical ability to lift equipment, move, and assist patients
  
  Capable of working under pressure, maintaining focus, and effective teamwork
