DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an LPN for an ambulatory Rheumatology Clinic requiring 1+ year of ambulatory clinic experience and ambulatory EPIC proficiency.
Details- Work in an outpatient Rheumatology Clinic setting
- Clinic hours of operation are 8:00am - 5:00pm with 8-hour day shifts
- 40 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Supported by a clinic team including MA/CA, LPN, RN, MD, APP, and on-site phlebotomy and radiology services
- May be required to float occasionally
- No on-call requirements
- Current LPN license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Completion of a board-approved nursing education program required
- Minimum 1 year of ambulatory clinic experience required
- Rheumatology experience required
- Ambulatory EPIC EMR experience required
- Experience rooming patients required
- First-time travelers considered only with prior ambulatory clinic experience
- Responsible for rooming patients and supporting rheumatology clinic workflows
- Navy blue scrubs required for RN/LPN staff
- Free parking available in designated areas
- Time off requests require supervisor approval
- Candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Permanent staff must wait a full year before returning as a traveler
- Facility orientation is dependent on specialty
