Job Description:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide care to patients with a variety of medical conditions, from minor to critical. This includes trauma care, sepsis, and stroke, using the latest patient care technology.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care for neonate to geriatric patients.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to maintain a high standard of care.
- Collect evidence for sexual assault cases in conjunction with permanent staff.
- Perform ESI assessments during triage and prioritize care accordingly.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience, excluding travel experience.
- Certifications:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, PALS (required); CPI or MAB/MOAB (preferred). - Proficiency with EPIC charting system.
- Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing.
